Throughout the evening, Moscow's aerial assaults have caused power cuts in large parts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were wounded while residents in eastern districts were experienced blackouts and dealt with disruption to water supplies, per reports from local authorities.

At the same time, a minor was fatally injured in a different Russian drone strike in the southeastern region in the southern area, according to area administrators.

Moscow has intensified strikes on electrical systems over the past few days, while the country's government has requested "concrete actions" from allies to apply pressure on Russia.

"What's needed is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the America, European nations and the major economies - in supplying air defence systems and implementing restrictions," mentioned in a online statement.

He said that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen missiles attacked energy facilities, labeling such strikes as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.

Government representatives said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and technical staff were working to restore power.

A series of attacks struck power facilities and civilian homes in Kyiv.

Several of the people wounded in the assaults on the capital have been taken to hospital, according to local officials.

Authorities told the media that Moscow was purposely seeking to damage the country's energy grid, with assaults already impacting fuel infrastructure.
